老王论坛鈥檚 Mock Trial teams have started the Spring 2024 season with strong showings at Drexel University鈥檚 Dragon Invitational and Johns Hopkins University鈥檚 Blue Jay Invitational mock trial tournaments.

At Drexel University on January 13-14, Stevenson put in a strong performance against teams from Seton Hall University, the University at Buffalo, and Drexel University. Freshman team member Kandi Mkpasi received the outstanding witness award.

At John Hopkins University on January 20-21, Stevenson competed against teams from George Washington University, Rutgers University, and Binghamton University. The team won all but one of its rounds and ultimately placed third out of 17. In addition, three team members were recognized for their individual performance. Marissa Chappell and Ahad Khan were both awarded outstanding attorney, and Melanie Lopez was awarded outstanding witness.

Wherever they go, the members of our Mock Trial teams can carry these valuable experiences and connections into their future careers.鈥�

The strong start to the Spring 2024 season maintains Stevenson鈥檚 record of success in mock trial competitions. Both teams will next travel to the regional tournament at Haverford College on February 24-25.
